MY ROAD TO GREEN

2008 is going to begin my journey; my journey to live a more earth aware life. I won’t be able to change overnight but I’m going to start learning more, and living greener. It seems like within the last year or so more attention to living green has made headlines everywhere from the news to the movies.

Some say global warming exists, some say it doesn’t, and some say it’s a political agenda. I didn’t pay much attention either way until one day something caught my attention. My husband showed me this you tube video that broke it down to the simplest of terms.

I was moved. Little did I know when I sat down that those five minutes would change me the way it did. When the video was over I knew I had to do something. Maybe start off by changing a habit or two but I can’t just ignore the information.

So that’s the reason for my motivation to green.

I’ve decided to keep a blog of my journey and maybe along the way I’ll inspire one or more of my friends to do something as well.

I’ve also acquired the domain of earthawareness.com. I am going to use the site to feature articles that interest me, links to helpful green sites and earth-friendly products that I run across along my journey. It’s not up and running yet but it should be ready soon.
